mud.
Cedar came to our tent and woke me. "Mom, Emma has leeches!"
"It's just like Little House on the Prairie," I responded.
"That is just what I said," he replied.
Jackie had them all removed by the time I came out. Emma took it all in stride and was quickly off for more exploring.
Westley had the best quote of the day. "Mom, the water just looked so inviting. (pause) It doesn't look so inviting anymore."

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad you were able to hook up with the Merschs on your trip. What a treat! It's especially fun seeing the pictures of everyone. Wow, how they have all grown. It sounds like it was a great visit. We would have loved to have seen you all in Yellowstone and the girls were EXTREMELY sad that the timing didn't work out. It is an amazing place where the majesty of God is just abundant - in the wildlife, scenery, - everything. You'll really enjoy it.
We continue to pray for safe travels and look forward to hearing all of your stories upon your return. Be safe!
